The multifunctional stand is located in the Flora Food Park gastrozone between pavilions A and E in the area of ​​the Flora exhibition center, which, in cooperation with the Olomouc town hall, ensured its acquisition and installation.

“It is the very first facility of this type in Olomouc. I believe that the people of Olomouc and visitors to the park will appreciate its practicality. It is under the surveillance of several cameras, so that we can prevent its possible destruction. If it proves itself and is beneficial, we plan to place other stands in other locations in the city,” said Deputy Mayor Miloslav Tichý.

The wood-clad bike rack works on solar energy, but a backup source is prepared in case of bad weather.

230 and 12 volt sockets, USB ports, holders for phones and tablets, as well as a compressor for inflating bicycle tires and tools for their minor repairs are available to visitors to parks and events in the exhibition area.

“The multifunctional bicycle rack becomes another element of the Flora Food Park gastrozone, thus continuing the development of this increasingly visited part of the park,” added Eva Fuglíčková, director of the Flora Olomouc Exhibition Center.
