The basic part is behind us and the clubs are now concentrating on the fight for the title, the promotion to football Europe or the fight for survival. The middle group also includes Olomouc and Hradec Králové, who will compete in a two-game semi-final for participation in the European Conference League. In case of advancement, one of the pairs Liberec-Teplice awaits them. The match in the Malšovick Arena is scheduled from 3 p.m.
The spring part of the competition was not successful for Hanáky. In the opening four duels, she won only one point, precisely against East Bohemia, which deprived coach Václav Jílek of his place. His successor was the current assistant Jiří Saňák. As a result, however, Sigma did not dazzle, and under the new coach they got eight points for two wins and two draws in eight games. After thirty rounds, she finished eighth with thirty-seven points. The disadvantage for Blue and White will be the absence of top scorer Juliš, who has four yellow cards.
Václav Kotal led the “Votroks” against Olomouc back in February, but in the three spring games they only drew. That’s why David Horejš sat on the bench and the team improved under him. They did not lose only on three occasions, they scored a point against Liberec and fell only to Prague “S” in first and second place. They finished the regular season in ninth place with the same number of points as Olomouc, they only have a lower place because of the match against each other.
This year, Hradec Králové is Sigma’s most frequent opponent. In preparation, they shared a point after a 1:1 result, and not a single goal was scored on both sides at the Androv Stadium. In the east of Bohemia, only former representative Václav Pilař has experience from the Olomouc cabin, Filip Zorvan and Jakub Pokorný from Saňák’s team combined their past with black and white.
