At the SÚSPK center in Kralovice, four trucks were ceremoniously put into operation on Tuesday, May 7. These are carriers of exchangeable superstructures for winter and summer road maintenance. Three cars are Mercedes and one Tatra Phoenix.
The financial value of these 4 vehicles with exchangeable superstructures and snow plows is a total of 28.8 million crowns. “Every year, as the Pilsen region, we provide considerable sums for the renewal of the SÚSPK technical park. We released 25 million from the budget for these four cars,” said the deputy governor of the PK Pavel Čížek.

4. TATRA PHOENIX model T 158–483 (6×6), chemical spreader with brine application bar EPOKE 4902 SIRIUS Combi, snow plow LLV 35S – for the center 24 Kdyně, district DO – this TATRA is already prepared and equipped with a superstructure for microcarpet technology.
The administration and maintenance of roads in the Pilsen region has a total of 209 trucks in use. Most of these vehicles are used as carriers of exchangeable superstructures, both for summer and especially for winter road maintenance. The technology is regularly changed from the machinery investment fund, which amounts to 60 million CZK for the year 2024, and from the contribution of the Pilsen region, which amounts to 25 million CZK. In total, this year, 85 million crowns will be spent on the renovation of the technical park.
As part of the handover ceremony, the guests were also able to familiarize themselves with other road equipment, which was purchased from the SÚSPK budget:
• Center Karez – HAMM HP 280i cylinder for large-scale expedition technologies
• Center Pilsen – HYMACH HERBY 50 crawler mower for maintenance of grassy areas on sloping terrain
• Center Pilsen – mountain tractor ANTONIO CARRARO TTR 8900 R with rotary mulcher for maintenance of grassy areas on sloping terrain
• Plzeň center – 2 x AUTOVIA 3.5 t low loaders for transporting mountain tractors and crawler mowers
• Klatovy center – truck cat. N2G 4×4 IVECO EUROCARGO 110 with hook carrier and container water tank
• Center Kralovice – BOX for transporting traffic signs aggregated on the clamping plate of trucks
• Center Kralovice – commercial vehicle VW CADDY for supplying the PS district
• Center Vochov – T-manipulator JCB 532-60 AGRI for handling the materials of the Vochov area and for paver technologies
