Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen will show in Prague how to experience enlightenment on the dance floor

--

Her song “Euphoria” is still ruling the dance floors all over the world, just like the Swedish singer Loreen herself, as the only woman in history, ruled the Eurovision Song Contest twice. It’s only been a year since it happened for the second time thanks to the song “Tattoo”. Now her extraordinary voice, which can stir us up at one moment and make us cry a moment later, will also be heard in Prague. Loreen will perform at the Roxy club on February 27, 2025. Tickets for 890 crowns will be on sale from Friday, May 10 on the fource.cz website and the GoOut and Ticketmaster portals. She admitted from the beginning that she enjoys music that is capable of inducing feelings of trance: “I’m inspired by Björk, some of Enya’s stuff and mostly Lisa Gerrard.” She was born in Stockholm to Moroccan immigrants and first made her singing talent known when she took part in the Idol talent competition in her twenties (and finished fourth). Then she worked for several years in Swedish television – either in front of the camera or in a production role. Since her win in Eurovision 2012, she has never left the spotlight, literally everyone knows her in her native Sweden. She currently works with names like Billen Ted (Raye, Zara Larsson, Armin van Buuren) and Zhone (Troye Sivan, Paris Hilton, Kim Petras), but she never fails to mention how important her Moroccan roots are to her. After coming out as bisexual in 2017, she is a regular part of the music line-ups at pride events across Europe.

“I just want to find love” she says when asked about her sexuality. But the inner passion of her music is not limited to any boundaries and confirms that even the tinsel of Eurovision can reflect truly emotional stories.
