Stamic Quartet

Prague, May 9, 2024 (PROTEXT) – We cordially invite you to the May concert of the EuroArt Prague International Chamber Music Festival, which will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in the Martinů Hall of the Liechtenstein Palace on the Lesser Side.

The concert is dedicated to the Year of Czech Music and will feature works by Leoš Janáček, Bedřich Smetana and Antonín Dvořák performed by The Stamic Quartet and the German pianist Matthias Kirschnereit. You will have the opportunity to listen to String Quartet No. 1 “On the initiative of Tolstoy’s Kreutzer Sonata” by Leoš Janáček, String Quartet No. 1 in E minor “From my Life” by Bedřich Smetana and, after the break, Piano Quintet in A Major, Op. 81 Antonín Dvořák.

Don’t miss a unique evening for the Year of Czech Music with top works of Czech chamber music.
