Breweries and wineries will also be presented, you can enjoy mixed drinks, good coffee and something sweet to bite into. To diversify the atmosphere, jazz will be played, and in the evening the bands Adys and Chai will perform. A program for children will also be prepared.
Opening of the 2024 tourist season – Europe Day

From nine o’clock you can register for the tourist march, you can expect a brass band, a dance performance, Brothers in a trick, the opening of the exhibition Sculptures in the Streets, which you have already seen in Klatovy, you will have fun with musicals and the whole event will end with a concert from 6 o’clock by Václav Noid Bart. The European corner will also be on display, and part of the opening is discounted admission to city monuments.
Josef Hubáček Airport Day

Why come: Airport Day starts already on Friday, May 10 at 5 p.m., when Daniel Švec’s lecture “King of the Air Josef Hubáček” takes place on the airport grounds. A varied program will be prepared at the airport on Saturday. The biggest attraction will undoubtedly be the historic airplanes, there will also be a period camp and equipment of RAF pilots, you can pay for a sightseeing flight or jump with a parachute. Children won’t be bored either, for whom the stalls will offer, for example, models of airplanes or souvenirs with airplane motifs and patches. The end is planned for 16 hours.
Majáles in Sušice

Why come: Majáles will begin with performances by students of the gymnasium, where they will present individual decades of the 20th and 21st centuries. Each decade will be dominated by one candidate in the fight for the title of King Majáles, who will then be decided by the audience. Subsequently, two musical groups from Horadovice will play – Lumberjacks at the Horaždovice ZUŠ and Reverb, which was introduced last year. The third will be played by the regular Strýčková zahrádka, and the main guest – BTnJ from Klatovsk will end the production. There will always be a flash mob between the bands, in which the high school students get involved and you can join too.
