The 10th anniversary year of the international Pilsen Step Festival is taking place in Pilsen. The rich program invites to tap dancing in the streets, stars from here and abroad, a spectacular show, an evening of improvisation, workshops and other events. Come to the Flashmob, rhythmic Tap Jam, dynamic workshops, and especially the biggest Tap Show with unique guests.
Spring Erdinger Bierfest at the Krkavec lookout tower

Throughout the Erdinger Bierfest, you can look forward to German cuisine, drinking from a traditional tuplák, and a bonfire with roasting of dumplings. ERDINGER Weissbier and ERDINGER Dunkel beer on tap. On Saturday, from 4:00 p.m., you can look forward to a performance by the music group Ve dvou. On both days, DJ Monge in leather pants will be playing from 1:00 p.m.
The event takes place on Saturday 11.5. 2024 11:00 – 20:00 and on Sunday 12.5.2024 11:00 – 19:00.

10th anniversary of the Lookout at Kotli

The anniversary is connected with the 51st year of the tourist event Rokycanské pochody. Ascent to the observation tower is possible individually or as a registered participant.
Registration will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the meeting room of the Triana Municipal Office, in the courtyard of the town hall, Masarykovo náměstí 1.
Each registered participant will receive a diploma and small souvenirs.
From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Divoká Orlice prepared competitions for children on the way to the observation tower. (competition start is at the observation tower)
Cycle weekend behind the castle

On Saturday, May 11, from 4:00 p.m., there will be a public practice, when competitors will be able to drive and test the track. From 19:00 in the tent behind the castle, rock songs will be played and the bands Old Space and Kravítma will perform. There will also be refreshments. On Sunday, May 12, there will be a cycling race around the water castle. There will be competition in several categories, from the smallest riders to experienced cyclists. The first riders start already at 10:30.

A competition for two-man patrols, a route 5 km long and 7 refreshment stops waiting for the contestants. This year’s costume theme is villains, masks are a must! The start of the event is at 13:00 in the fire station and a sharp start at 14:00.

Firefighters have prepared a rich program for you, full of demonstrations and valuable advice that can be useful in life. Demonstrations of rescue from a crashed vehicle, a demonstration of extinguishing a vehicle fire or a demonstration of rescuing people using abseiling equipment and many other interesting demonstrations are waiting for you. There will also be an opportunity to purchase refreshments on site and entry to the event is FREE.

The Stříbrský veteran club in the AČR invites to the XI. May drive of historic vehicles around the town of Stříbra. The race is open for motorcycles and cars manufactured before 1975. As usual, there will also be a special competition for the Ladies’ Cup! Vehicle inspection for visitors is possible in the morning before the start and during the announcement of the results.

TJ Sokol Starý Plzenec invites you to a spring tourist march on Saturday, May 11. The start and finish will take place in the area of the Pilsená sokolovna. There is a 5 km children’s walking route, 10 km or 25 km adult routes, 25 km and 50 km cycle routes. At the finish line, a diploma, commemorative cake and small refreshments await you. On the day of the march, the Rotunda of St. Peter and Paul.
Entry fee: Children under 10 free, others 40 CZK.
May railway rides

On Saturday, May 11, visitors to the Pilsen Slaughterhouse will be prepared for the May Railway Ride. With all-day operation of BN30 locomotives and a BNF 30 mine on a 600 mm gauge track, an exhibition of PŽ locomotives. The start of the event is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is voluntary and refreshments are provided.

Run and March for CUBA

Come and support a good cause by moving. Start from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at TGM square in Rokycany, in front of the town hall. Starting fee at least 100 CZK. The route leads along the cycle path to Kamenné Újezd. Also suitable for strollers.
At the finish line, refreshments and burritos will be toasted for free. Children will enjoy the obstacle course. Proceeds will be handed over on the spot.
Design in Šumava

This year’s market will be held on SUNDAY 12 May 2024 (10:00 – 18:00), again inside the refectory and in the courtyard of the Jesuit college in Klatovy, where it traditionally belongs.
This year, visitors will be introduced to a lot of new, but also permanent and popular local creators with original products of various kinds. Once again, rich refreshments and an amazing accompanying program will be prepared for you.
