Representatives of the city council, which is establishing the school, opened the envelopes on Thursday afternoon. “We have two applicants. Considering the situation, we didn’t even expect more people,” said Šroubková.

She added that dismissed director Dagmar Hitková and her closest collaborator did not report. “Not even anyone from the current management,” she specified. She did not want to specify whether it was one of the teachers.

Councilors will evaluate the proposals, followed by interviews. “If everything goes well, the new director will start on the first of August,” said Šroubková.

After the case was published, other parents came forward, talking about the bullying of their children, writing a petition and asking for Hitková’s dismissal, which eventually happened.
