A twenty-nine-year-old man from a village in the Zlín region repeatedly called the police emergency line, always under the influence of alcohol, and threatened to shoot. Criminal investigators charged the man with the crimes of spreading an alarm message and violence against a group of residents and against an individual, he could spend up to three years in prison.

The judge of the District Court in Zlín decided yesterday to impose detention on a 29-year-old man from a village in the Zlín region.
“In recent months, the man threatened to shoot up a nearby school and kindergarten via line 158, and a few days later he communicated a similar idea to random passers-by,” said police spokeswoman Monika Kozumplíková.

At the time, criminal investigators charged the man, and at the subsequent court hearing, the judge of the district court imposed a preliminary measure prohibiting him from consuming alcoholic beverages.
“However, the man did not respect the ban and at the beginning of May, always after consuming alcohol, he continued to make threatening phone calls. In total, since the beginning of the year, he has been guilty of 6 acts,” the spokeswoman added.
He had up to 4.08 per thousand of alcohol in his blood
In all cases, his actions required the intervention of the police because of the spread of false alarms.

After sobering up, he confessed to his actions and explained that he was doing everything for his own amusement.
“The amount of alcohol in his case ranged from 2.4 to 4.08 per thousand of alcohol according to the individual acts,” informed Monika Kozumplíková.

Detectives arrested the man after his latest act. It happened on Monday at his place of residence. They took him to the police cell, from where, after the necessary steps of the criminal procedure and the court hearing, he went to the remand prison on Wednesday.
The man has three records for violent criminal activity in his criminal record.
