Third reinforcement of Hradec: Twenty-five-year-old attacker from Pilsen | Hokej.cz

After the two arrivals of Ryan Dmowski and Dávid Mudrák from Slovakia, the Hradec Klub announces another new name: Jakub Pour joins the East Bohemian cabin.

Under the White Tower, he signed a two-year contract.

So far, the native of Rokycan has always worked in the Czech Republic only in the west, he entered the extra league in the colors of the Indians as a junior from the year 2017/18, to earn a contract in the best hockey league in the world after three seasons. He was scouted overseas by representatives of the Chicago Blackhawks organization.

He didn’t get a chance in the NHL, he tried out the Hawks colors only in a preseason game. He thus worked primarily on the farm in the AHL, during the second year of the contract he decided to return to Pilsen. After two years in the colors of the Indians, Jakub Pour decided to change.

“We have been following Jakub for a long time and have been in contact with his agent. We liked his strong hockey style and physical parameters. We firmly believe that Jakub, who signed a two-year contract, will become an important part of our team and that his performances will build on the period before leaving for the NHL, as he has all the prerequisites for that,” said general manager Aleš Kmoníček of Pour’s arrival.

Pour has experience from youth national teams and the World Junior Championship, he was successful in Pilsen especially in the first season, when he scored twelve points in 24 duels of the regular season.
