On Monday, March 25, 2024, a few minutes after six in the morning, the Regional Operations and Information Center of the Fire Rescue Service of the Liberec Region received information about a traffic accident involving a car and a truck near Hrádek nad Nisou.
The traffic accident occurred on road I/35 in the cadastre of the Oldřichov na Hranice municipality. Professional firefighters of the HZS of the Liberec region from the Liberec station went to the scene of the incident. After arriving at the scene of the incident, firefighters conducted a survey of the scene of the incident. One person wedged inside the crashed passenger car was extricated by firefighters using a hydraulic rescue device, having to remove a large part of the vehicle’s roof. Two injured persons were taken into the care of paramedics. Subsequently, they also filled in the leaked operating fluids. Colleagues – volunteer firefighters from Hrádek nad Nisou – also intervened in the traffic accident together with professional firefighters from Liberec.
