The Sokol Museum joined the search game called Here Could Be Quick Arrows. Throughout April, it will be possible to search for stories of the Quick Arrows in ten places in the center of Sokolov. Stations will be located, for example, in shop windows, but also in other buildings.

The secret must be copied from the posters with the relevant story of the Swift Arrows. The assembled secret proves finding all the places where the stories of the Swift Arrows could have taken place here. Entering the secret on the website of this nationwide game will give searchers a chance to win quick-shooting prizes from the Scout Foundation of Jaroslav Foglar and the Albatros publishing house.
85 years ago, the first cartoon story of the Fast Arrows was published. Several generations of readers have since been searching for where the stories took place. The Scout Foundation of Jaroslav Foglar has prepared a search game for these places in several dozen cities of the Czech Republic for this occasion. We are looking for a total of 30 cities in the Czech Republic and one in Slovakia.

“Sokolov is the only participating town in the Karlovy Vary Region. Since the beginning of April, we have also managed to obtain a panel exhibition from the Jílové Museum, which will be displayed in the courtyard of the Sokolovské castle from the beginning of April to mid-May, and which presents Foglar’s book The Mystery of the Puzzle in a comic adaptation with drawings by Marko Čermák ,” says the director of the Sokol Museum, Michael Rund.
The last activity is the so-called Crown of Quick Arrows. One of the thirty traveling crowns, a coin worth 1 CZK, starts from Sokolov, when its journey will be followed. In the original story of Quick Arrows with a coin, a notepad traveled, now a QR code is used.
“For a total of nine months, we will monitor where the crown travels. In Sokolov, the mayor Petr Kubis took over the patronage of the search game,” added Rund.
