Even Wednesday was not without complications on Czech highways. The morning accident complicated driving on the D6 highway in the direction of Prague. A car and a truck collided, one person was injured. All components of the IZS intervened on the spot.

According to information from the TN.cz server, emergency services were on their way to the accident, which happened on the 16th kilometer of the highway in the direction of the capital shortly before eight o’clock in the morning. The accident resulted in one injured person, who was taken into care by paramedics.

Due to the incident, the police closed the highway in the direction of Prague, and opened it fully after the car was towed around 10:30 in the morning. Until then, long lines formed behind the accident.

Last year, the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) registered 16,282 traffic accidents in the Central Bohemian Region. There were more than 1,100 more than the previous year.
