/VIDEO, PHOTO/ An unusual accident happened on the main road between Nymburk and Kolín on Wednesday before 7:30. In the village of Pňov – Předhradí, the driver failed to make a slight right turn, drove off the road to the left and crashed into a family house.

Traffic police arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances of the accident. “The accident was reported before 7:30 in the evening. It was first a crash into a curb and later into a house. The driver escaped unhurt,” said police spokesman Pavel Truxa shortly after 7 p.m., adding that the patrol is still on the scene and investigating other circumstances.

An ambulance with paramedics was on the scene, but in this case they were really out of work. The driver actively helped in resolving the accident and disconnected the battery of his Volkswagen, which had scraped the facade with the left side and had a large part of the left body damaged.
