Holiday in Croatia? Get ready, it’s going to be a price ride

--

Preparations for the tourist season in Croatia are at their peak. According to the server Croatiavise.com, their integral part is the setting of new prices for which tourists, including those from the Czech Republic, will spend their holidays by the sea in the country.

“To begin with, it should be noted that prices will be almost at their maximum in 2024 and maybe even higher. One of the reasons is the local people’s desire to make money, the second is high inflation, which was 4.9 percent in March,” Croatiavise.com reported.

At the same time, the Cruisecroatia portal reminds that tips in Croatian restaurants, cafes and bars range from ten to 15 percent of the total spend.

For those who will be cooking on holiday in Croatia: the prices of basic food at the beginning of April were similar to ours. But with the beginning of the season and in resorts, they will most likely be higher.
