Based on the in-depth analyzes we conducted and the state of the tennis movement, I came to the conclusion that I would like to run for the post of chairman, given the number of general meetings, said Kotrba. We have entered into an agreement with a number of people who want to help tennis in its difficult times and contribute to its restoration and external credit, he said.

Kotrba is one of the partners and managing director of the Chrenek, Toman, Kotrba law firm. In addition to the reaction to the current situation, the main points of the general meeting’s agenda should also include a change in the statutes, which would allow various candidates for the post of chairman. The new leader of the union should be made up of a chairman and two other people.
Let’s entertain the idea if we would be happy for the tennis association to be led by a similar presidency, which will be composed of the following. One would be in charge of resolving the difficult financial situation, the relationship with the NSA, and therefore the financial administration. He would put me in charge of the economy of the union, set up a process so that it corresponds to what is needed for a long time. And this representative should be someone who will present tennis to the outside and will be a representative of the continuity of the tennis environment, Kotrba pointed out.
The National Sports Agency (NSA) revealed deficiencies in the association’s finances during the 2021 inspection and called on the tennis association to pay 29.7 million crowns. Since it does not have such a resource now, the NSA pedal falls into financial trouble. The representatives of the NSA stated that they will also control the economy of the union for the period of 2022 and 2023. The current situation does not have to be done in this way.
Tennis needs saving. Half of the union’s income is from the NSA, and when there is one fine of 30 million and another two are ordered to travel in a similar way, we are talking about one problem in the breath of hundreds of millions, which is to get rid of you. You have to act, and my practice as a lawyer has taught me to react to these situations and try to find someone who will of course hurt, but it could be beneficial so that tennis does not disappear, said Kotrba.
The NSA plans to provide subsidies to the DL Tennis Association in the future, but it must meet the conditions related to the standard subsidy process. Therefore, the funds should be sent after the general meeting. According to the chairman of Ondeje Ebka, the amount could be as much as two around 140 million crowns.
Kaderek and Flgel, who is four years younger, face a sentence of 10 years in prison, both of which will end the criminal activity. The secretary of the union, Jakub Fastr, Hana Baierov, head of the economic department, and Daniel Vacek, one of the leading players in the game, who is a member of the Davis Cup representative, Tom Mach, were also invited.
A collusive bond, i.e. a bond due to the possibility of minor injuries, may last a maximum of three months. Both Kaderek and Flgel washed out before the end of May. Extraordinary general meetings can therefore be represented in person.
According to media reports, the tennis association has paid out one million crowns from the state subsidy to the Flag association Orel Jednota Praha – Balkn. Only for the year 2021, it was about 40 million crowns, which was the total subsidy that the association received to support tennis in the Czech Republic. 100% of the money paid for the day’s tournament went to Flgel’s companies or the companies of his family members.
The police sent the code to about 14.5 million crowns. According to criminologists, the essence of the machinations consisted in the fact that Flgl and him or his close company managers had their pensions paid for overestimated or completely fabricated services – for the organization of some tournaments, for transport and food allowance, or for a prison visit.
