The Czech prices of the Mercedes-Benz G 580 are here. It can stand as an S class

Barely a week has passed since the premiere of the first electric “geek” and now we have the first Czech awards. The four-engine offroad with a lot of equipment starts at CZK 3,626,370, for which the customer gets a basic power of 587 horsepower and a 116kWh battery. In terms of equipment, the basic version of the G 580 boasts black metallic body paint, 18″ wheel rims, Multibeam LED headlights, dethermal glass from the B-pillar, a steering wheel upholstered in Nappa leather, a set of extended connectivity and, of course, Thermotronic automatic climate control. Don’t look for fabric seats here , the basis is black leather and electric heating.Not only will the crew’s eyes be impressed by the light walnut decor with open pores, and the so-called “transparent hood” is suitable for off-road driving.

Those who are not satisfied with the base can choose from an abundance of accessories within the configurator. A specialty is, for example, the Edition One equipment, which requires a hefty surcharge of another 1,268,534 CZK. However, for them, the customer will receive special equipment, which includes a Burmester 3D audio system, an electrically operated sunroof, a set for ionizing the air in the interior or a complete AMG package for the body and interior. In this case, the G 580 model will arrive on 20″ wheels, the front crew will be embraced by orthopedic seats with a massage function, and the fact that it is a special design will be informed by blue painted brake calipers at the front and rear.

With light numbers, the car can be retrofitted at a price for which you can buy a very well-equipped Mercedes-Benz S-Class. And as a reminder, driving in deep water or mud will do absolutely nothing to the car’s battery. It is protected by a special steel case. Other vulnerable parts of the chassis and bodywork are covered by a skid plate made of carbon-reinforced plastic. Mercedes-Benz claims the material is stiffer than steel, doesn’t corrode, and weighs a third of a comparable steel skid plate. The manufacturer promises acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds for the G 580 version. Disappointing is the maximum top speed, which in this case is only 180 km/h.
