“The court asks the rhetorical question why the parents entrusted their daughter to the defendant when they knew about his problems with alcohol. For now, fortunately, it appears that this action will not have a major impact on the victim’s future life,” he noted.
“However, the minor had a fatal consequence in the form of her irretrievably losing her relationship with her grandfather,” Kafka added, adding that the man must pay another 100,000 crowns in compensation to his granddaughter.
The verdict is not yet final, the defendant appealed on the spot.
