Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyanova, head of the RT station, complained on her Telegram account that “while innocent people were being killed by terrorists’ bullets in Moscow, they were choking on smoke and burning alive in Crocus City Hall”, so “the German federal channel ZDF broadcast mockery of Russia and elections”.

“A debilitated Heute Show correspondent ‘dressed up’ as a Russia Today journalist and mocked Russian voters in the queue outside the consulate in Bonn. Not a single critic thought of shutting down the entertainment show and running a special edition. German state television receives 8 billion euros a year for its brave work. When a terrorist attack occurred at a rock concert at the Bataclan in Paris, the entire world stopped broadcasting anything but news. And that’s normal. It cannot be otherwise.
But if German television sees fit to be idiotic instead of reporting on an ongoing tragedy, why would ZDF reporters be freezing in Moscow? They can grunt over their Heute Show from the couch in Berlin,” writes Simonjanová.

Foreigners, however, noticed above all that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin did not appear before the public until 19 hours after the shooting. The Kremlin also announced that Putin is now not planning to meet with the survivors of the terrorist attack. “If any contacts are necessary, we will inform you about it,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. He added that Putin also has no plans to visit the Crocus City concert hall, the site of the massacre, where rescuers are still searching for bodies under the rubble.

Simonyan also continues to make claims that try to shift responsibility for the terrorist attack to Ukraine. “A monstrous, brutal and unimaginable operation was devised under a foreign flag. That’s when you do something with someone else’s hands so that people think of Vasya and not Péta,” claims the propagandist.

“We already know the names of the perpetrators. We’ve already seen their faces and we know what they sing during interrogations. (We’re not publishing this to avoid compromising the investigation.) And then it’s obvious why the US media was gleefully shouting that it was ISIS yesterday. Because it’s not ISIS. Only the perpetrators were chosen so that they could convince the dull world public that it was ISIS. Elementary trick. On the level of a station con artist. Okay, that’s how it is. It’s not ISIS. They are plums,” Simonyanova used an offensive Russian term for Ukrainians.

The Russian authorities have not yet presented any evidence of Ukrainian involvement in Friday’s terrorist attack, and allusions to Ukraine’s involvement are very general. This version is based only on the fact that the terrorists were allegedly heading towards the Russian-Ukrainian border, while the Belarusian authorities first reported that the men wanted to enter Belarus and were prevented from doing so. The Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko subsequently edited his announcements so that they did not contradict the Russian version.
