Before the Russian aggression, 991 inhabitants lived in Krynky in the Kherson region. Now all that remains of the Ukrainian village on the banks of the Dnieper are piles of rubble.

The village was located on the left, Russian-controlled bank of the Dnieper. However, the Ukrainians built a beachhead here last year and repeatedly try to repel Russian attacks here.
The video, whose authenticity or exact date cannot be verified on the ground due to the fighting, shows entire streets of bombed-out houses, charred trees and destroyed infrastructure.
“The village no longer exists. It is a cruel and merciless hell. The weak cannot survive there. Endless shelling, artillery and small arms fire. The fire does not stop even for a moment. The enemy is attacking the village in small groups every day, literally crossing the bodies of their brothers,” the RBK Ukraine server quotes the photographers as saying.
As we wrote last week in News from the battlefield, the Ukrainians still seem to have the upper hand in the “drone battle” at Krynek, so Russian forces have not yet been able to advance directly into the village in sufficient numbers to destroy or force the Ukrainian contingent to retreat.

Russian troops in part of the Donetsk region managed to achieve an unusual success in the context of the current fighting. In a narrow section, they penetrated the Ukrainian defense by several kilometers in a single day.
