When Boris Johnson was British Prime Minister, he was one of the biggest critics of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the most frequent visitor to Volodymyr Zelensky. His former senior adviser and previously head of the Brexit campaign, Dominic Cummings, has now spoken about the Kiev regime as harshly as has not been heard from England since the beginning of the war.
According to him, Ukraine is a corrupt country, and the West, with its actions to support it, goes where dirty words are used. A lover of straightforward speech, he used them a lot in a conversation with a British website and news.
“The West should never have gotten into such a stupid situation,” he says. According to him, the sanctions destroyed Europe more than Russia.

He dismissed comparisons to 1940 and Winston Churchill, with whom British politicians fell in love. According to him, Zelensky has nothing to do with the leaders of the resistance from the Second World War.
“This corrupt and mafia state called Ukraine basically cheated us all. And we’re going to screw everything up for that?” he asks pointedly.
Cummings, who has completely diverged from his former boss’s view of Ukraine, sees the main problem as the incompetent West failing to send Putin a strong enough signal to dissuade him from invading.
“We kept talking about Ukraine joining NATO. Russia has repeatedly said: don’t do it, or we will send the country into ruins. And we got into a completely stupid argument with them. Because of one corrupt country that doesn’t matter at all,” he explained the causes of the conflict.
And according to him, the western ride of dullness continued. “Then they explained how China would support us. I already said at the time that China would not support such a thing, China makes a lot of money supplying Russia,” says Cummings.
The war we are embroiled in is actually strengthening ties between Russia and China. “The West pushed Russia into an alliance with the world’s largest industrial power,” he says.

Then he hinted at what might be behind the idiocy of the West.
For his boss Boris Johnson, this war was a lifeline in the domestic political crisis. “He could finally start acting out his Churchillian fantasies,” he says mockingly of the politician who wrote a book about Churchill, loved to quote from his speeches and always wanted to become the country’s wartime leader like him.
“The MPs swallowed it, even though they hated Boris until then. But now his shit (in the original “bullshit”, note ed.) swallowed and took the action seriously,” he doesn’t understand.
“The only lesson Putin has learned from us is that we are idiots. Idiots who imposed sanctions and then just watched the disaster they brought to their own people,” Cummings summed up the two years of the war.
At the same time, he announced that he was working on founding a new partywho will replace the desperate Conservatives, who spectacularly lost the local elections last weekend and are expected to hand over the prime minister’s seat to the opposition by the end of the year.
“Our party will consistently focus on voters, not on officials and journalists,” says the winner of the 2016 referendum.
