Information about the sale was brought by the BBC. Refer to the announcement of KleinVision co-founder Anton Zajac, his company created AirCar. Financial terms were not disclosed.

AirCar received a certificate of airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority in 2022. At the beginning of this year, it appeared in a video published by YouTuber Mr Beast.

at the beginning of the development of the electric car and now actively developed one for air transport. In Norway, the company Autoflight conducted a test flight of a drone for the transport of passengers between the cities of En-en and U-hai. The journey, which takes hours by car, took the drone 20 minutes, but the plane was empty of passengers.

Last year, the German company eHang received a safety certificate from the German authorities for its electric flying taxi. Unlike airplane-like drones, the AirCar does not take off or land vertically and requires a lift.

For this form of transport, there is still a lack of knowledge in the field of infrastructure, regulation and public technology. Worldwide attempts to regulate this industry have resulted in a flurry of new issues.

In this regard, the history of the West has somewhat slowed things down, because there is a bit of a temptation to try to squeeze these new machines into the old category, said BBC aviation industry consultant Steve Wright. she could see in it a trick to get ahead, he added.

Electric cars once had similar concerns, for them it became the leader of the world market. The sale of Slovakia’s AirCar technology could raise questions about whether it is about to do the same with flying cars.
