Wilhelm Gruber’s tragedy still resonates in the store’s offices. Irena pressures Peter that they must unite and help each other like never before, because Gruber will take revenge. It was also Irena who found out how it went in the hospital.
Gruber’s daughter was born alive, and for a while it seemed that everything was as it should be. But suddenly she got convulsions and they didn’t stop. Then it was over. And it is clear to Irena that she has to blame Gruber, otherwise he will take revenge on them.
While Alena and Eva mourn Bara, Toni arranges a shoot in the store to promote and attract as many people to shop as will be needed to recoup the investment in buying expensive fabrics from Italy. Martin interceded for Eva to star in the commercial.
Rudolf returns to the plot
Rudolph wants to get married. He claims that he is cured of addiction and marriage will come naturally to him. However, his mother doesn’t like his idea very much. When he seeks support from the men in the family, Lukáš only advises him that he must convince the women in the family. According to him, they influence everything that happens in the family, and although Rudolph’s mother looks like a humble wife, nothing happens in the family without her consent. And there is no doubt about Irena’s influence.
Sofia and Rudolf go to see Irena, but she wants something for something, and Rudolf doesn’t like that. Only when Sofia herself goes to see Irena does she learn what Irena had in mind. However, the price for good relationships is too high for her. Irena wants to have information about Gruber, which his wife Sofia will share as her confidant, and has also asked to arrange a written declaration from Rudolf that he is renouncing succession to the family business.
Dita provokes Eva a little that Martina took her over and Eva is a little upset. She was away from the store for a long time, then back at her parents’, and began to think that her relationship with Martin was going nowhere. Martin likes her, but his head is full of resistance and he doesn’t pay her as much attention as she would like. But Dita is not a threat, she has her eye on a much bigger fish.

This is too much for Peter and he discusses with Vágner the need to do something more to show the Germans that they will not countenance shooting people just for expressing their opinion. Gruber led the action against the protestors and thus got himself on the blacklist of the resistance. And that evening he also appeared in the Swan.
He came to pick up his broken wife who married Alena. Sofia got in his way and he turned his anger against her. This was an opportunity for Irena to stand up for Sofia and her arguments were strong. She thus showed her future sister-in-law that she should definitely not hesitate to accede to her demands regarding Rudolph. They could be useful to each other.
After a period of light flirting, Toni feels like she’s one step away from catching Peter. And he gives the impression that he is not uncomfortable with her company. That is, until he gets a call from the bank and discovers that Toni may be nice and smiley, but she’s put the store in deep debt by recklessly buying luxury goods. So he abruptly ends the friendly relationship and wants it to be just work from now on. The satisfaction of the nice company immediately faded. Perhaps he was also irritated by the conversation with Gruber, who was more aggressive than he usually is, and Petr has had enough of his haughty behavior.
