San Sebastian had several options to equalize. In the first half, former Real player Takefusa Kuba’s strike was called off by VAR due to a previous foul, Mikel Oyarzabal scored from offside after the break, and on another chance his shot after Antonio Rüdiger’s run went wide.
Real have five games left to play in the league, Barcelona one more. San Sebastian remained sixth and Betis Sevilla can catch up with them on Sunday.
