Body language expert Judi James noticed something odd about Duchess Kate’s speech. According to her, it reveals how Kate really feels about her treatment.
The future queen is currently in the first phase of preventive chemotherapy, but she says she feels good because she is in the hands of an excellent medical team.
Kate explained that her diagnosis came from post-operative tests after she underwent abdominal surgery in January. In order to start treatment, she had to fully recover from the procedure.
But more important to her was to explain to her 3 children what was going on with their mom. This is also why Kate avoided the public.
Her speech was watched literally by the whole world and even body language expert Judi James could not miss it. According to her, the Princess of Wales made a small but significant gesture.
“Her left hand is raised to show a desire to maintain control and calm down as she says she’s in the early stages of chemotherapy,” James explains.
At times, Kate was seen clasping her hands together, which, according to the expert, indicates “willpower tinged with some anxiety”.
