Aurora will bring her most personal album, but one that concerns us all

--

Norwegian superstar Aurora is back with a new album and an autumn tour of European arenas. He will perform in Prague on September 21, 2024. The upcoming album “What Happened To The Heart?” it deals with estrangement from our home planet and will be released in June. Shortly after its release, Aurora will present it at the legendary Glastonbury and other major summer festivals.

“Tears of happiness and an experience of a lifetime,” echoes from the sold-out performances at the Karlín Forum agreed. Now Aurora will perform at her biggest Czech concert to date in the Fortuna Sports Hall. Tickets in the price range of 990 – 1,390 crowns will be on sale from April 4 for registered Fource Friends members on the fource.cz website. They will go on sale a day later on the websites of GoOut, Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. “We Are the Earth” – that was the title of the text that changed Aurora’s view of the world. A letter from a collective of climate activists calling for a revolution and healing the planet inspired the title of the upcoming fourth series “What Happened To The Heart?”. In the letter, they compared natural processes to the beating of the human heart. Aurora therefore decided to find out why Western civilization had lost contact with the most vital organ. “We used to think of the heart as the core of our soul. The core of intuition, but also of emotions and our intentions. And when I see how the world is controlled by money, power and selfishness, one cannot help but ask – where has the heart gone?” says Aurora about her most personal and cathartic album yet. The record captures the journey from weakness to gaining strength, from self-destruction to self-healing. Aurora rediscovers the spiritual connection with the Earth, which she has lost due to the influence of modern society. He looks for healing power in vulnerability and in his heart, whose beating he unites with politics and personal growth. It was not for nothing that she deliberately recorded the studio album in places where she did not feel safe, such as in the forests around her hometown of Bergen, which influenced the aesthetics of the first recordings.
