The Pardubice region allocated another 3.8 million crowns to support rural trade. They decided about it at their last council meeting. The region received the change of funds through the Trade 2021+ funded program, which is announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of R.

The core of the program is the support of retail operations in municipalities up to one thousand inhabitants. And then in local streets, which have a maximum of one thousand inhabitants, but are also part of municipalities with up to 3,000 inhabitants. The condition is that there is a maximum of one retail store selling food and beverages in the changed country. The subsidy in an individual case can therefore be no more than K 130,000 per store. This year we registered a total of 67 lots for 8.5 million crowns. All of the requirements of the pitom program were met. Considering their effort and the given financial allocation, we therefore decided on an even distribution of support among all the original developers, explained the councilor for rural areas, agriculture and the environment, Miroslav Kril.

In the case of the Pardubice region, the ministerial program is a supplement to the regional subsidy for the support of rural businesses in the framework of the Rural Renewal Program. This year, from our regional program, we will support rural shops with an offer of regional products for no more than nine million crowns. The support of rural retailing will thus cost the region approximately 13 million crowns for the year, Governor Martin Netolick added.
