The driver of a car that collided with a truck at the exit of the D35 outside Olomouc ended up in the Olomouc University Hospital.

The accident happened on Tuesday before 11 a.m. on the D35 near Unčovice in the direction of Mohelnice.
The young driver in the Kia apparently lost control there due to health problems and got under the turning truck.
“The 31-year-old driver of the Kia drove to the left, probably due to medical indisposition. Here he hit the center guardrails, but continued to drive. Subsequently, at the exit to Unčovice, a Scania truck with a semi-trailer, driven by a 57-year-old man, was turning from the right. A collision occurred during this maneuver both vehicles,” described police spokeswoman Ivana Skoupilová.

The driver of the car was injured in the collision.
“He was taken by the ambulance service to Olomouc University Hospital for treatment. The material damage to the vehicles was preliminarily estimated at 300,000 crowns. The presence of alcohol in both drivers was ruled out by a breath test,” said the police spokeswoman.
