The coalition is divided by the amount of tax credits per taxpayer and termination without giving a reason

While the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and chairman of the KDU-SL Marian Jureka did not mention the possibility of immediate dismissal in his proposal to change the labor law, his coalition partners from the ODS, who brought this up at the recent election congress in Ostrava, hinted that they would try this option enforce during the discussion of the work bill in the House of Representatives.

The new mayor of the ODS, Eva Decroix, said that her party will strive to bring to the end of the work the possibility of immediate dismissal without any reason, for example with an estimated eight-month resignation. It is also supported by TOP 09. On the contrary, it would be a reason for the people to leave the government, if the coalition partners would enforce it even against their view.

The members of the government party, on the other hand, insist that the political coalition fulfills what the government promised in its program statement, that the tax discount on fees will be increased regularly. This year, everyone could withdraw 30,840 crowns from their tax return.

According to Finance Minister Zbyk Stanjura from the ODS, however, the state treasury cannot afford it. If the tax discount was reduced by a hundred percent, i.e. to 32,040 crowns per year, it would have an impact on the state budget of roughly 6 billion crowns.
