In the opening match of the Group for the title of the secondary part of the FORTUNA:LIGA, Slovácko lost to Sparta Prague 2:4. Leten took the lead in the first half with two goals by Kuchta, KIM corrected for the home team. In the second half, Martin Svědík’s men conceded the third goal from Haraslín, Daníček corrected from the penalty spot. Krejčí made the final result in the setup with a goal from the penalty spot.

Slovácko has not won seven rounds in a row and will enter the superstructure from sixth place with a loss of three points to fifth place, which will mean participation in the qualifying match for the European Conference League with the winner of the group for Europe.

Prague won the last three rounds of the extension part and needed to maintain a four-point lead at the top of the league in Uherské Hradiště. They won the last match against each other at the end of February in Slovácko 3:1. They did not lose five times in a row against the selection of Martin Svědík.

The home coach changed the starting line-up in three places. Compared to the match in České Budějovice, Kohút, Vecheta and Reinberk appeared in the starting lineup. From U19, forward Lukáš Novotný was on the bench for the first time.

The home team started more actively, but all efforts ended twenty meters in front of Sparta’s goal.

Sparta took the lead after twelve minutes of play. At halfway, Kuchta took over the ball and rushed alone at goalkeeper Fryšták, whom he easily lobbed – 0:1.

In the 24th minute it was already two goals. The home team did not learn from the first goal. Kuchta again lobbed Fryšták – 0:2.

Slovácko was brought back into the game by Kim, who in the 33rd minute shot from the edge of the goalpost of Sparta – 1:2.

Three minutes after the change of sides, Reinberk blocked Haraslín’s shot with his hand. The referee first pointed to a penalty, but after consulting with VAR, called it off due to offside.

In the 63rd minute, Sparta rebounds again by two goals. The home team lost the ball in their half, it reached Haraslín, who aimed at the back post of Slovácko’s goal – 1:3.

Twenty minutes before the end, Kairinen played in the goal and Slovácko kicked a penalty. In Slovácko, Daníček, who converted his penalty with serial number twenty – 2:3, is on those.

A quarter of an hour before the end, Fryšták was lucky, Ryneš’s shot ended up on the post.

Slovácko tried to equalize in the end, but did not create any scoring chances.

Sparta added a fourth goal in five minutes. Substitute Olatunji kicked the ball in front of the running Fryšták, there was contact in the goal and referee Rouček pointed to the penalty, which Krejčí safely converted – 2:4.

Thus, Slovácko did not beat Sparta even in the sixth match between them and did not win in eight rounds.

The next match of the extension part of FORTUNA: LIGY will be played by Slovácko on the field of Viktoria Plzeň. The kick-off is in Štruncové Sady on Saturday, May 11, from 3 p.m.
