A traditional event called the Safe Thirteen took place on Sunny Square in Prague 13, during which the units of the integrated rescue system were presented to the public. The event was held for the first time 21 years ago as a celebration of the entry of the Czech Republic into NATO. Even after years, however, according to the mayor of the district, its importance is important.
“Before those 21 years, Europe was absolutely safe and someone was tapping their foreheads, why are the army, police and the like exhibiting here. If I suddenly cut it, after those 21 years Europe is completely different and different, and I think it is good that people knew that we have components here that will ensure our safety in the event of a conflict and that we have components here that will ensure when the water breaks or the gas breaks,” said David Vodrážka (ODS), mayor of Prague 13.
This year’s edition was also visited by the Minister of Defense Jana Černochová and the Mayor of Prague Bohuslav Svoboda. They also perceive the Safe Thirteen as a necessary educational event.

“This smaller helicopter weighs about 3 tons, it is 10 meters in diameter. For the police, the most common tasks are searching for missing persons, chasing dangerous criminals, the police use this helicopter to monitor the situation from the air, during some mass events in Prague, football, demonstrations,” said Michal Šnajdr, a member of the Aviation Service of the Police of the Czech Republic.
