Klat residents will see new parking meters. You will be able to pay by card in them

The long-awaited event is here. Parking meters will be replaced in Klatovy.

“On May 13-17, 2024, all 11 parking meters that are located in our city will be replaced,” informed Libor Hošek from the Technical Services of the City of Klatov.

The new parking machines in Klatovy will have a modern design, but mainly they will accept cashless payment by card or smartphone.

“It was no longer possible to keep the existing outdated machines in operation, especially due to the unavailability of spare parts for their repairs,” explained Hošek. “The software of the new parking meters is ready for further expansion, such as the possibility of remote payment by phone.”

“At the time of the actual replacement and connection of the new parking meters, i.e. between May 13 and 17, 2024, parking in otherwise paid places will be free. We apologize for any complications,” added Libor Hošek.
