LOM PRAHA completed the overhaul and renovation of the interior of the transport helicopter Mi-8 fuselage. No. LZ-CAN in VIP configuration for the Republic of Bulgaria. The machine was handed over to the customer, the State Aviation Operator of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which is the operator of the government squadron, on April 25, 2024, in the presence of representatives of the Bulgarian Civil Aviation Authority and LOM PRAHA sp. Opposite.

The above-mentioned salon “eight”, which is used for the air transport of the highest constitutional officials of the Republic of Bulgaria, is already the second machine that has undergone major maintenance and modernization at LOM PRAGUE. In 2017, it was a helicopter Mi-8 fuselage. No. LZ-CAT. For the sake of interest, the customer’s representatives simplistically nickname it “Tango” according to the last letter in the matriculation. The second Mi-8 (LZ-CAN) is named “November”.

“November” will now complete a roughly 1,300 km long flight, when it will fly from Kbel to Bratislava and then to Timișoara, Romania. A day later it will fly to the home base in Sofia.
