Rokycany High School, known as Jeřabinka, has already celebrated 30 years of activity. On the occasion of the anniversary, representatives of the Pilsen region, the city of Rokycany, and especially a number of graduates of the school, which offers a number of popular fields of study in Rokycany, gathered. As a symbol of the thirty-year anniversary, a tree was planted – the bird crane. After that, the visitors of the celebration could see the premises of the school and also taste the festive banquet from the workshop of this year’s graduates, who were thus completing the practical graduation exam.
The school prepares students for a number of sought-after positions in practice. They are workers in gastronomy, metal workers, machine mechanics, car mechanics, salespeople, forest mechanizers or agricultural machinery repairers. “During the 30 years of experience, the school has a high number of graduates, it is adding some fields of study. This shows that it is doing well. Thanks go not only to the school management but also to all the teachers. The school cooperates very well with local employers and the city. That is why it produces such graduates that the market needs, and that’s how it’s supposed to work.” he says Deputy Governor for Education and Sports Vladimír Krocwho together with the head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports, Jaroslava Havlíčková, wished the school, the school management and the teachers many more successful years of work well done.
