The management of the club was attacked in the media due to the alleged disadvantageousness of the sale of several properties from 2015 and 2017. The nonsense and baselessness of these attacks have now been confirmed by the renowned consulting company Grant Thornton. She evaluated the three disputed sales and confirmed that they were definitely not disadvantageous.
The company Grant Thornton evaluated the sale of non-residential premises in 2015 and the sale of the gym and land in 2017. In all three cases, the conclusion is clear and completely positive for SK Sigma Olomouc a.s. No misconduct or financial disadvantage for the club was found anywhere. This is therefore an independent confirmation of the falsity of the above statements.
In one of its conclusions, Grant Thornton states, among other things: “Based on our analysis, it is evident that the realized purchase price is in all cases above the upper limit of the conclusions of all the analyzes performed, and the realized price cannot therefore be considered an underestimated amount.” Among other things, this claim also clearly shows that the allegations of undervaluation of assets are false and are damaging the club at a time when it is negotiating the entry of a strategic investor.
