Around 50,000 people visited the spring stage of the Flora international flower exhibition, which was hosted by the Flora Exhibition Center near the center of Olomouc from Thursday to Sunday. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Flora Exhibition Center, Michal Poláček. This year’s attendance was slightly lower than last year, when approximately 53,000 visitors did not miss the flower show. Spring Flora included horticultural markets, several gastrozones and an accompanying program. Three hundred sellers and exhibitors arrived in Olomouc for the flower exhibition.

The main exposition of this year’s spring exhibition Flora Olomouc called Galaxy of Flowers was created in pavilion A according to the project of florist Jan Milt. They were also part of the exhibition floristic competition, show of the winner of the Championship florists CR Kláry Franc Vavříková or examples of current trends in floristic art. The horticultural and art schools of the Czech Republic presented themselves in the flower-filled pavilion A. Union of florists and florists of the Czech Republic had its own pavilion for the first time at this spring’s Flora. Visitors could learn about the current trends and news of the association for this year. There was also the Bouquet of the Year competition, the Cesta květin exhibition and presentations by leading Czech florists Karolina Žáčková and Milan Dopita. One of the best Polish artists presented her art in this pavilion florist Monika Głowacka. An exhibition of the Union of Visual Artists of Olomouc was installed in the orangery in a floral arrangement by students of the Mendel University in Brno. In pavilion H, the Central Moravian Tourism Association and the Association of Private Agriculture presented their members. Pavilion G, together with the surrounding areas, belonged to horticultural markets with an offer of plants, gardening supplies, DIY tools and household items.
