People should be extra careful when witches are being burned in a number of places in the region this evening. Meteorologists have issued a fire warning for part of the Pilsen region. It will be valid until Thursday afternoon.

For part of the Plzeň region, a warning of increased risk of fires is valid for the next few days.

“Especially in the western half of the territory, a moderate southeast wind of 3 to 7 m/s will blow, with gusts of around 55 km/h in places. It is this wind that can be relatively dangerous when starting fires in nature. In connection with this, heed the instructions of local governments,” the meteorologists warned on their Facebook profile.

With this warning, according to the Pilsen region regulations, in places such as forest stands and their surroundings, forest parks and parks, it is forbidden, for example, to make or maintain an open fire, to smoke with the exception of electronic cigarettes or to use pyrotechnic products.

In addition to the stronger wind, Tuesday’s Philippian night should bring good weather. “It should be almost clear to partly clear in the evening, without precipitation. Temperatures will range from 17 to 22 °C, but due to the expected wind, the feeling temperature will be 3 to 5 °C lower,” says the weather forecast.
