At the end of last year, the well-known aggregator Metacritic brought the lists of the best and worst rated games of 2023. Now, with a greater delay, it also reaches us overview of the most successful publishers. Only game companies that released at least 5 titles in the past year were included in the ranking. The first position was occupied by the Japanese Capcom, which secured the first position mainly thanks to the success of the survival horror Resident Evil 4 Remake (rating 93%).
Lesser-known labels Raw Fury and Chorus Worldwide took second and third place. The top ten also includes companies such as Annapurna Interactive, Nintendo, Sega or Bethesda. Sony which won the poll in 2022, had to settle for thirteenth position this time. Rival Microsoft finished another two places lower.
