The accident involving four mostly luxury cars occurred on Sunday evening in Petržílkova street in Prague’s Stodůlky. One of the drivers fled the scene of the accident, but was caught within a few moments. As it turned out, the reason for his escape was, among other things, the fact that he was under the influence of alcohol.

There were no injuries in the collision of four cars in Petržílkova Street.

Information about the accident was confirmed by police spokesman Richard Hrdina. “Four cars collided. One of the drivers ran away from the scene of the accident, but was immediately tracked down by the police and brought back to the scene,” said Hrdina. The driver submitted to a breath test, which showed 1.7 per thousand. This makes it clear that he has committed a crime.

There were no injuries in the incident. And apparently also because they were mostly luxury cars. Mercedes, BMW and Range Rover cars are damaged. The material damage has not yet been calculated, but given the types of cars, it can be expected that it will range at least in the order of hundreds of thousands of crowns. The police are investigating other circumstances of the accident.
Traffic, including buses, was diverted to nearby streets while the accident was being investigated.
