The teams have already faced each other twice this year: in early March, the Blue Devils won 79-64, while the Wolfpack won in the ACC Tournament 74-69. If they win, NC State would make their first Final Four appearance since winning the Championship in 1983. Duke last made the Final Four in 2022 – Mike Krzyzewski’s final season.
On Saturday, UConn defeated Illinois 77-52, and Alabama bested Clemson 89-82. Today’s 2:20pm ET game, Purdue vs. Tennessee precedes NC State and Duke’s matchup. UConn and Alabama, plus the winners of today’s two matchups, make up this year’s Final Four.
