As the daily Blikk stated on Sunday, the bus will travel throughout the country until the European elections, which will take place in Hungary on June 9 at the same time as the municipal elections. “At the stops, interested parties have the opportunity to touch this pile of banknotes,” stated Blikk. The bus is accompanied by 25 armed guards.

The chairman of the movement, businessman Viktor Huszár, explained to the newspaper that the reason for this unusual step was that they had little advertising space available. “We will distribute the saved money to those municipalities where the candidate of our movement becomes mayor,” said Huszár. Mayors for the Solution Movement should invest the funds obtained in digitization, the introduction of a wi-fi network and in solar panels. “These are all investments that will improve the lives of local people,” added Huszár.

The leader of the movement explained that they are showing the billion forints in cash to the people in order to encourage the people of Hungary to do business. “They can convince themselves that even with honest work it is possible to build a billion-dollar company,” stated Huszár.

The Solution movement put up its own candidate in the European elections, and in the municipal elections their colors will be represented by 20 candidates for mayors and 50 candidates for local councils.
