Billa started a big news in the Czech Republic. Customers are excited, saving big money on their purchase

Large retail chains in the Czech Republic now have to outdo their customers, because after what they have done to them with prices in the last two years and how badly they are doing with quality, they simply need any positive points. These are not easy to collect nowadays, but it is true that some things still apply to customers.

A very good combination

Especially when they can save good money and feel good about it. It is exactly these emotions that the Billa company’s project, which is clearly called “We are not disposable”, is targeting. Within it, it offers a really interesting matter. These are bags full of fruit and vegetables for the price of CZK 49. For this amount you will get a good charge in the form of at least three kilograms.

At the same time, these bags contain quality fruits and vegetables, but they no longer meet the criteria, especially visual ones, to be displayed on the shelves. The chain would have to throw this product away as waste, but it prefers to offer it to customers this way, which is called a win-win deal.

Not only will this reduce the amount of food waste that we as a society produce in huge amounts, but you can also save money. And that it is needed. The price for a complete purchase remains high in the Czech Republic. Well, at least in this way you can help yourself.

People like it a lot

“However, these vegetables and fruits can still be used in the preparation of hot dishes, salads or drinks to supplement fiber,” says company spokesperson Billa. In each bag, you will find at least 4 types of fruit or vegetables, but rather more. The bag weighs between 3 and 3.5 kilograms.

As Billa herself states, customers fell in love with this model as part of the test mode at selected stores. Bags full of vegetables and fruits are a big hit. The good news is that Billy e-shop customers will also be able to order them.
