The police investigation revealed that the 50-year-old man owes a total of 340,000 crowns in child support for his four sons. “As the father of four sons that he had successively with two women, after the divorces, on the basis of court decisions, he was supposed to contribute monthly amounts ranging from 1,300 to 1,700 crowns to each of them. However, he did not do that until one of the mothers, who lives in Chomutovska, ran out of patience and turned to the police because of non-payment for their two sons,” explained police spokeswoman Miroslava Glogovská.
As it soon became clear, this father still has maintenance obligations for two other sons who live with their mother in Hradec Králové. “The ongoing criminal proceedings apparently forced the children’s father to start paying off the debt. He allegedly used the money he received from his inheritance to pay off roughly half of the debt,” spokeswoman Glogovská added.
