Even the entrance fees to castles did not escape the jump in prices

--

We didn’t even know it, and the prices of entrance fees to the sights of the Zlín Region are already climbing. The National Monument Institute announced this just before the start of the summer tourist season. The increase in price after two years is justified by the higher costs of managing the monuments and the cost-saving measures of the Ministry of Culture, as its founder.

It is interesting that the highest amount, 40 crowns, goes up to enter Buchlov Castle. An adult will pay already 240 crowns for a basic tour. On the other hand, an inexpensive tour of Buchlovice Castle will cost 220 crowns, i.e. the same as last year.

Some monuments in the region will open on Easter. Buchlov Castle is increasing the entrance fee

When we compare this with the entrance fee to the Květná zahrady in Kroměříž, where the visitor will pay 180 kroner after a forty-koruna increase in prices, or with a tour of the representative rooms on the first floor of the castle in Vizovice, we find that the two hundred kroner threshold for entry to the monuments in the region is becoming a matter of course.

A trip to a castle or chateau in our region for a family of five can easily exceed two thousand crowns, even with lunch. No licks, where last year’s snows are. Hell, let’s get used to the fact that we will have deeper pockets also due to the fact that the inflationary jump did not miss even the favorite historical destinations of family trips.
