The football players from Olomouc will, like the A and B teams, face the leader of their competition this coming weekend. And just like with A and B, their opponent will be a team from the capital. On Sunday, April 28, from 1:00 p.m., they will perform at the FC Praha ground.
Last weekend the Sigma players had a day off. They last played on Saturday, April 13 at FC Prague, where they lost 2:7.
“The first week after the end of the regular season, we had a lighter training so that the girls could rest. We are plagued by some muscle problems and minor injuries. We want to get the girls in good match form. This week we went to fitness training, the next two training sessions will be purely game-based. We will also focus on finishing in order to torment the opponents,” coach Lubomír Nedvěd said about the team’s program.
FC Praha players will again be the first opponents in the expansion group for promotion. Coach Nedvěd hopes that the result from the last match will not be repeated.
“We will rearrange the ranks a bit and try to grab a point. We will have to improve defensively and not make simple and unnecessary mistakes. When I think back to the recent match against FC Praha, we scored three goals after our big mistakes. We also want to improve movement and have a little luck. In Prague, at 2:5, we had other chances with which we could have dramatized the match, but we did not succeed,” he recalled the last match in Prague.
On Sunday, Hanačky will go to Prague without some players, but coach Nedvěd believes that they will travel to the match in a strong lineup.
“We will miss some girls. However, the basic eleven is stabilized in some way, we will eventually add some juniors to the team. We have to fight it and show a consolidated performance. And try to torment the opponents as much as possible,” he said in conclusion.
The match between FC Praha and SK Sigma Olomouc will be played on Sunday, April 28, from 1 p.m. This time the match will take place on the field in Třeboradice.
The duel will be refereed by Mária Marušinová, who will be assisted by Markéta Strnadová and Eliška Vitásková.
