The employees and representatives of the Zlín region gained new experience and inspiration abroad, thanks to the European program Erasmus+. As part of the “Be inspired and inspired” project, at the turn of February and March, six of them completed educational mobility focused on adult education, namely job shadowing in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The costs of the educational event were covered by subsidies from the Erasmus+ program.

During the foreign visit, the participants got acquainted with the theory and practice of effective communication in the field of lifelong learning, including the use of modern technologies and tools. Part of the mobility was a visit to the State Institute of Vocational Education, including a presentation, performance and practical demonstrations of activities and activities. Another item on the program was a visit to the Aurélium science and technology experience center and the Fablab creative workshop. On the last day, participants met with representatives of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region and shadowed their colleagues at the Department of Education, Youth and Sports.

“I consider mobility to be very beneficial and inspiring. It was interesting to learn how the same things are done a few kilometers further beyond our borders. For example, the fact that some areas of education are conceived in the same way, and some in a different way. I have a very positive assessment of the overall organization and approach of the representatives of the State Institute of Vocational Education, their willingness and helpfulness was evident. The older ones among us remembered that just a few years ago we were part of one state,” Zulín Region councilor Zuzana Fišerová, who was one of the participants of the trip, explained her impressions.

As part of the “Be inspired and inspired” project, last year and this year, employees and representatives of the Zlín region gradually participated in a total of five foreign educational trips. Thanks to the project, the region will be able to better communicate current topics and reforms that serve to support changes related to societal development and new trends. Based on the experience gained, a marketing communication plan is created for the area of lifelong education implemented by the Zlín Region.
