Do you want to die quickly or slowly? A young man was sentenced to 19 years for the rape and attempted murder of a schoolgirl

The young man, who according to experts is a dangerous aggressor with sadistic tendencies, lured the girl outside, where he first forced oral sex from her and then attacked her with a knife. When the schoolgirl was left lying lifeless on the ground and feigning death, he wrapped her body in a plastic bag and threw it off the cliff.

Veselovskyj denied in court that he had raped the girl. “It was consensual sex,” he declared. He admitted to stabbing her. “It’s not like I planned to kill her, but it happened during an argument and I was just defending myself,” he said. They both knew each other well. They even dated and had sex for a while. The young man told the court that he had been in a relationship with the victim for about a year and a half. “We had intercourse three times. I knew she was fourteen at the time. I know I made a mistake. We later broke up because she started using drugs. We agreed to remain friends,” the defendant testified.

On the fateful day, Veselovsky lured the girl out on the pretext that she would accompany him to his acquaintance, to whom he wanted to take some things. Around 8 p.m., they then went together to the river near the shooting range in Pilsen-Lobzy.

“The defendant had adhesive tape, plastic bags, several knives and a bottle of caustic with him in his backpack. During the journey, he bound the girl with duct tape, knocked her to the ground and performed sexual intercourse on her. He then took her to a nearby forest, where he forced her to perform oral sex under threat,” said public prosecutor Jiří Richtr.

But the worst was yet to come for the girl. “He put her on the fence and cut her with a knife on the front of her neck, commenting that it would take two days for her to bleed out, so she had a choice between a quick and painless death and a long and painful one,” Richtr continued.

When the girl indicated that she did not want either option, the rapist stabbed her in the neck with a knife. “Whereupon the victim fell to the ground and pretended to be dead. In an attempt to prevent his discovery, the defendant undressed the victim, wrapped her in a bag and poured the chemical agent SAVO on her. Then he threw the bag with the body down the slope into the forest, where he covered it with bark and branches. Then he left,” added the prosecutor.

According to Veselovský, the knife came about after a heated argument. “It started during oral sex when I told her I was thinking about another girl. She started cursing me for being a Magor and making insinuations about my Ukrainian nationality. Then she took a bottle of suction from my backpack, opened it and sprayed it on me. I snatched the bottle from her hand and got a slap from her. So I pulled out a knife, and when she approached me, I swung her somewhere in the neck area,” the young man described his version.

He started to panic

According to his words, the girl screamed. “That’s when I realized she was probably hurt. She herself told me that I cut her. I wanted to leave but she refused to let me go. So I swung the knife again and hit her. She collapsed and remained lying on the ground,” the young man continued.

Then he allegedly began to panic. “My legs gave out. I didn’t care at all, I didn’t know what to do. So I just stood there staring into the darkness. After about an hour, I realized that she was dead, and it occurred to me that I had to cover the body,” the stranger testified. He undressed the girl, tied her hands and partially wrapped her in a sack. Then he dragged the body to a precipice, from where it rolled down under its own weight. Then he disguised it with branches.

According to experts, the young man is fascinated by violence, which he also practices during sex. He doesn’t care about other people’s feelings, he only cares about satisfying his own. “This is a cold aggressor,” experts from the field of psychiatry and psychology testified before the court. According to them, this was also the motive for the crime. “How he handled the body afterwards, how he tried to sweep away the traces – he was inspired by American films,” the experts further stated.

They also pointed out that it will be very difficult to correct the defendant. “Aggression is a personality trait that cannot be cured. The defendant has a problem with managing it due to limited self-reflection, almost no discipline and weak motivation,” the experts concluded.
