The first match of the play-off semi-finals of the 1st Futsal League between the home team Interobal Plzeň and Slavia Prague was full of goals. The defending champions defeated the staples 10-6 and take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Pilsen won the first half 6:1 and maintained a safe lead in the second half.
Holý, Rešetár and Mikuš scored twice for Interobal, Kozár, Knobloch, Vnuk and Künstner added one goal each.
“It was not an ordinary match for us. A lot of goals were scored, we conceded a lot, but luckily we scored more. We will try for the second point already on Friday,” Interobal futsal player Francisco Mikuš told the association’s website.
Slavia coach Zdeněk Sláma, who played for Pilsen’s Interobal, did not expect his players to score six goals against Pilsen. “But we got ten of them again. Some of it was a little too cheap, from cast players that we didn’t finish with a fight consistently, as if we didn’t believe it could get any more dramatic. We need a different setup, to go into it like the playoffs. On the other hand, I have to commend the young players for not being afraid to play. These are valuable experiences for them. And that we didn’t play with six players? We are not physically up to it, it would have turned out even worse,” stated Sláma.
