Why come: The children’s choir of the Rudolf Koblica Elementary School in Kadaň is celebrating 10 years of its existence this year. The festive concert will take place in cooperation with the Kadaň choir Kadaň zpívá, thanks to which not only pupils and teachers will gather on stage, but also parents and friends of young singers and friends of the school.

Pilgrimage of Říp 2024

Why come: The legendary Řípská pilgrimage to St. George’s Day is here again after a year. It will take place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th April at the foot of Mount Říp in the direction from Krabčice – Rovného. Also this year, many sales stands with a varied assortment and, of course, many carousels and other attractions will await visitors. Traditionally, the Řípská puť will also offer a cultural program. On Friday, after the beginning of the pilgrimage (12.00), the RockTom (16.00), Vynález zkazy (18.00) and New Age of Smokie (19.30) will play their concerts. On Saturday, the bands Aquarius (10 a.m.), Bordo (2 p.m.), well-known impersonator and dubber Václav Faltus (3 p.m.), pop-rock Josef IX will entertain. & Mina (3:45 p.m.), the talented young singer Tomáš Ringel (4:30 p.m.) and as the main star of the evening O5 and Radeček (6:00 p.m.), on Sunday, among others, rock-metal singer Alžběta. People will be able to see special racing cars, hundreds of motorcyclists will arrive as part of a charity ride, paratroopers will compete in precision landings. The pilgrimage will end on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
