In Libochovany, a constituent meeting of representatives took place a few days ago. After the elections that took place at the end of March, it was necessary to re-elect representatives as well as the mayor and his deputy.

Vlastimil Vrbenský became the head of the Libochovany municipality on Thursday, April 17, during the constituent assembly, and Michal Melen was his deputy and deputy mayor. In both cases, the vote was unequivocal by the weight of all seven votes. Other representative seats were occupied by Jaroslava Ekrtová, Jaroslav Hendl, Jaroslav Kopecký, Štěpán Krtek and Petr Novák.

The representative elected Štěpán Krtek as chairman of the finance committee and Petr Novák as chairman of the control committee.

Extraordinary elections were held in Libochovany on Saturday, March 23, the turnout was 67.58%. The elections here ended with a clear victory for the party Alternative for Libochovany and Řepnice (75.68%) with a gain of six mandates, while the political group Libochovany – Řepnice Společně (24.31%) received only one mandate.
